Day 8- My Hobbies and Talents
As far as hobbies are concerned craft and baking tend to be the main two. I like to make cards for close family and friends. I made a lot of Christmas ones this year which I am glad I did, as I always say I will and never seem to!
This year I made a lot of edible gifts too, I love to bake cakes and made a Christmas cake for the first time this year (with the hindrance help of Alex) which I was very pleased with and enjoyed the decorating of it especially! I also made loads of rocky road, gingerbread, marzipan yule logs etc and although I was very stressed on Christmas eve our family were pleased with their gifts. Oh I also made my son's adventcalendar (on and off throughout the year) too which I am really pleased with and will hopefully be something that we can keep year after year.
I have some plans for this year, first on the list is painting some digger canvasses for Alex's bedding copying the duvet design. I would also like to paint some canvasses for the house...as after 2 1/2 years of living here the walls are still stupidly bare! However I haven't painted for over 2 years so I am quite nervous about it.
I also play netball for a local club so guess that is sort of a hobby too, nice to keep me in shape burns off some extra flab. Nice group of girlies too :)
Talents..hmm. I'm pretty good at organising cupboards? Haha
