Today Sam you reach 9 months, first of all where on earth has that time gone, second of all, that's now longer than you were inside me for as you were born 8 days early!
You are becoming such a little character now, you adore Alex to pieces, the best and biggest laughs are when you watch or listen to him being silly, dancing and jumping around. I love to watch the relationship between you both when you are like this, it certainly warms the heart and brings a huge smile to my face.
Your laugh is hilarious, it sounds like you are doing fake evil laughs, which just makes it all the more amusing for us all.
I thought you were into everything a month or two ago, but I have been proved wrong once again, now you really are into EVERYTHING! The kitchen cupboard without a lock (bottles and pots trailed along the floor), banging the kitchen doors with a lock, if doors are left ajar you're in there like a flash, Mummy's make up bag (contents make great teethers apparently), a fleck of paper upon the floor is noticed in an instant.
What makes me laugh is the speed you crawl when you notice something that you shouldn't have-and it really is fast! Head down and straight to you target!
You favourite game at the moment that keeps you amused for ages is chasing a ball, bottle, or balloon around the house, flicking and moving it along with you hands, giggling as you go. We hear you cry in frustration if it gets stuck and giggle once more when we get it back for you.
My favourite thing you have achieved this month is you saying "mama" you have been saying "dada" for a while now, but when you woke yesterday morning and had a sleepy cuddle in bed when Daddy left for work you saying "mama" actually to me made me smile from ear to ear.
Amazingly you have learnt how to stand alone, the longest being for about 10 seconds, when you are standing against things you barely hold on-catching you unaware sometimes!
You are still very much a Mummy's boy, especially now your top teeth are really trying to come through, I love the way you nuzzle into my shoulder and give me a proper cuddle now, nothing beats a good cuddle from you boys.
Aww lovely to read x
